But if I run net send -i wlan0 -u sub.vrs.com {password} I get the following error message: -13: The remote name sub.vrs.com is not supported. What am I doing wrong? A: I am using Hotspot Shield VPN and there is an "insider" app for Mac. I tried this and it worked perfectly! Q: It makes sense to use C/C++ compilers to develop C/C++ in Java? I heard about LLVM, is it possible to develop C/C++ in Java using this compiler? A: The process of compilation is much more complex than just the translation from source code to byte code (you can't do that without the target machine). And for a standard compiler, it is usually separated in several "stages" including code generation and optimizations (including code generation for the libraries you use). That makes it a poor fit for a programming language which is supposed to be interpreted. Now, if you have an interpreter for your target language, the compiler could do something you can't easily do in the interpreter (like generate actual object code or do optimizations). And of course, the target language then starts to look a lot more like C++ to me :) A: It's possible to write a compiler that translates Java bytecode into object code, but it's going to be very slow and not feasible for most purposes. Java doesn't really have a code generation phase. A: You can do it, and it's doable. But you're probably better off compiling to a different language ac619d1d87
